    BV7 & BL6000 Problem

    Help needed.

I've got a pair of BL600's connected to my BV7-40, however the LH speaker has stopped working. The red standby light is on, however it does not turn on with the other speakers.

I disconnected the BL6000 and connected a BL4000 to the same cables and it worked with no problems, so I connected the BL6000 to my BS4 and it worked fine. I have looked at the sound settings in the menu and they are all ok.

Anyone able to shed any light!!!!

and after disconnecting and two sets of tests and reconnecting it, does it still does not work ?

maybe an intermittent fault on the cable or the connection point ?

    try swapping cables .....

did you have to move the 6000 to attach it to the BS4 ? Maybe something there is an internal loose connection ?

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

...when disconnecting / reconnesting speakers you can easily move the "L / R / Line" switch (nearby
the PL socket) to a wrong position by accident!

I've connected the RHS 6000 to the LHS 6000 via powerlink cable and it works fine. I'm bemused that the 4000 works and the 6000 doesn't. Tried  it on RH and LH switching mode. Will have to dig the wall out and insert the new cable.

Its got me stumped. Will eat my weetabix and get the tv off the wall and put a new cable in just so i can see what happens. i'm digging the wall out anyway, so it won't matter too much.
