Dear One and All. I have a Beovision 3/32in set, which is working perfectly OK, but I would like to know how do I find out if there have been any Firmware/Software updates in recent years that may need to be installed into my set.

Firstly: how do i find out within the set Menu system, what it already has installed and then

Secondly: if there is a need to update, how does one get the neccesary info etc.

Thirdly: have B & O any facilities to upgrade to HD

Well you can go into the service menu but the S/W numbers will be on the label on the back! If yupgraded, there will be a second label stuck on ! I wouldn't worry. The major update will be upgrading the surround sound to DTS if you want.

You cannot upgrade a B&O CRT to HD but quite frankly, you don't need to. On a 32" CRT screen, the picture quality is exceptional anyway. It will work with HD which will be downscaled.
