They do look good to be fair, it would be interesting to know how they sound.

Re: Make your own BeoLab Speakers!!!!!
Is the person who made these on these forums? This would've taken alot of work! I Don't like the design of BL3 especially in white so i hate the way these look, but wow, what an amazing project i'm really impressed too.

It's not BeoLabs, it´s BeoVox 3!
Nice works, and a guy with nice humour (in his comments). He says he's an ex salesman for B&O and loved the design immediately he saw it, but he wanted more bass.

POINT!
It sure did look like a lot of work! Just about made me wipe from my brain any thoughts I may have had of doing anything remotely similar!

Re: Make your own BeoLab Speakers!!!!!
I ran the page through Google translate it worked impressive well. There are some strange parts, but it will give you most of the text. If you wonder over some strange parts just ask and I (or some other native) will translate it.

Agree (and most of the time Google fail here is when the original Swedish text is misspelled)

Re: Make your own BeoLab Speakers!!!!!
Great retro looks, this bigger version reminds of those Grundig ball shaped speakers way more than original BeoLab 3 does. Impressive woodworking skills and nice outcome.
Now back to drawing board - crazy ideas are flying :)

Have to admit the original Swedish page makes a lot more sense to me
What a great project. IMHO they would look much better with a little heavier stands, though.

Ooh, Audioramas. If I were to build a '70s lounge, these would be the only non-B&O kit allowed in, preferrably on the chain ceiling mounts...
These are actually being reproduced now! I have no idea how they compare with the originals, though.

Thanks Anders for the link! What a lot of patience this chap has. Don't know how I set it up Daniel, but Angela automatically translates all foreign pages I land on.

Re: Make your own BeoLab Speakers!!!!!
Well,
I can say this chap has a lot of patience and the result is quite interesting. It may have been difficult to reproduce the three rubbered speakers of the BL3 as we don't see them on these nice replicas.
BTW, the SA Acoustic Lens is well reproduced and the vertical stands are nice though.
I would like to hear them, that might be interesting.
Cheers,
Guy
