NewKinetix Rē Universal Remote an alternative to BeoLink for iPhone

I decided to get one of these for a room full of non B&O equipment to de-clutter the remotes.

    http://www.newkinetix.com/

My first surprise came when it learned the terminal 3000 we have in that room, It then gave me a second surprise when it learned the Beo4 commands and operated the rest of the B&O products in our house.

A software update today added a “bump” feature that allows you to copy the learnt remotes and activities to other iPhones, iPads or iPod touches (but be warned the first time I tried this I mistakenly copied over all my work and had to start from scratch.)

    Beosound 1, 5, 2000, and 3000

    Beotime, Beotalk, Beocoms

so it supports the "non-standard" B&O IR signals ?!

that was not obvious from their website ...

    VERY interesting !

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Hi

This is among the most interesting things I have heard of for long time in this forum. This should be the way to go. I wonder if this thing can be bought in a shop in Europe, Sweden for instance.

I ordered from the website, paid with paypal and it arrived 9 days later.

Sweden shouldn't be a problem as I live in Germany.
