    Listen A.AUX and watch SAT

    I can watch SAT (Avant) and listen to CD, SD Card, RADIO (Beosound 4) at the same time.

    i.e SAT>list until AV>CD

    However  I wish to listen to A.AUX (iTunes Airport Express connected to BS4) at the same time as watch TV.

    Tried

    SAT>list until AV>list until A.AUX>GO but I didn't work. Does anybody understand what I am trying to do and able to help.

    Regards

    I don't know if it's possible either. But you could connect the Airport Express in V.Aux insestead, and then use A-V.AUX on your beo4 List.

    Hope it helps you.

    Airport Express is connected to the BS4 AUX IN.

    maybe if you use "AV"- "CD" and then manually on the BS4 change to A-Aux it will work..

    Else you can change to it from a link room if you have that..

    Manually changing it to A.Aux on the BS4 will switch the whole system over I think.

    Not sure if this helps but i have the BS4 and a non B&O tv. I use airport express too.

    I bought a A/B switcher from Radio shack for $15 and have the Satellite/TV input into 'A' and my airport express into 'B'.  Everything still goes through my a.aux but i do have to switch to either A or B depending on what i want to listen to.

    Re: Listen A.AUX and watch SAT

    I have a equal looking problem. Can not switch to A.Aux directly from my B&O passive IR-eye.

    First I have to put the Passive system in the kitchen to cd, radio... whatever, and then walk to the Beosound 3200 and switch this unit to A.Aux with the Beo 4. Then it works to get A.Aux music from the Passive amplifier.

    This is the only way to get A.Aux music from the Passive in my kitchen.

    Yes, I kown my spelling is horrible… Huh?

    Yes that's true just tested it on my own setup, so there is only link option left i think, if you have a link room...

    Hi together,

    I can also confirm this behaviour of the Beolink Passive - it does not react to A.AUX (or SHIFT RADIO as it is with my old BL1000). However I found a simple solution for this problem: Using PHONO will let the Beolink Passive react as well as turn my Ouverture to it´s AUX/PHONO input. Don´t know if this will work for other audio systems but worth a try!?

    hi

    No will not work on BS4 because PHONO is chanced to N.RADIO or N.MUSIC.

    Interesting to know!
    Can anyone give a "translation" table how PHONO, A.TAPE and others are named now? I think V.TAPE is DVD now - right?
    Is there a firmware update available for the Beolink Passive to fix this problem?

    Re: Listen A.AUX and watch SAT

    I think it's like this:

    V-tape = V-mem

    V-tape2 = DVD2

    CDV = DVD

    A-tape = A-mem

    A-tape2 = A-mem2

    A-aux2 = N-music

    Phono = N-Radio

    CAMCORD = Camera

    P-in-P = P-and-P

    GOTO = PAGE and TUNE

    ? = PC maybe "New"
