Does anyone know, how the inbuilt DVB-S (Satellite Module) on Beovision7 updates its software??
As far as i know you have to be on Astra Satellite. But is it done automatically or you have to be watching a specific channel/broadcast?

If you have DVB-S (Type # 4032 through 4042) then the software can be updated via Astra 19 Degrees East which is the old Astra. Most people today will be using Astra at 28 degrees and therefore the updated would not be available. Normally the software would be updated by the B&O dealer using their Service Tool.

Thank you for your prompt answer Keith. How can i check the Type Number? I have found: SW Version 0.2.0.0, SW Model 0.1.1.0, HW Version 0.0.0.9, HW Model 0.1.1.0. My BV 7-32 is Type 9321 if it helps. And yes i am using the old Astra at 19 Degrees East!
B&O no longer provides DVB-S software updates from the Astra 19 Degrees East Sat downfeed
Your Beovision 7-32 is a Mark II Type number 9321 and therefore uses Type 4038 DVB-S module
The latest software version is version 2.1
