Two way beovision to go with vx5000

Hi all i would like to know what you think is the best two way beovision to go with my vx5000, i already have an mx4000 and an mx4002 (with beolink converter) but will be parting with these to buy a two way version also these do not seem to accept the PiP feature of the vx5000.

As it is for my bedroom would like to keep around the same size if i can as i am keeping my motorised wall bracket of the mx (if i can get a two way mx that will fit?).

But if it means getting a bigger screen the so be it?

    Many thanks

    Mark

    Kind Regards, Mark

The best would probably be something like an LX2802 or 2502.

Well I suppose an MX3000 or MX5000 would be the choices. I wouldn't touch a 3000 with a barge pole though so maybe a 3500 - this might not work properly though as it was designed to go with the VX5500 and the P-i-P module was designed to be in the TV. I have a VX5000 and it does not work very well with the LX6000 I have for just this reason. The alternative is to find a VX sensor of course!

But the features of the VX5000 are what attract! This is one of a very few elite VCRs that really do have an immense portfolio of features.

    Think:

    Picture in Picture

The ability to show 16 programs on the screen at one time or a freeze frame set of 16 pictures from a tape slowly moving.

Indexing of the contents of a tape by showing the opening frames - up to 16 again

8 hour hi-fi quality audio recording controlled by a timer.

    Simulcast recording

    audio dubbing

This is a sensational VCR - a few Japanese decks offered similar features but these were also rare and expensive and nothing like as sleek.

Would I buy one now? Of course not! Overheats and very fussy about what it is attached to. Besides, I already have one!!Laughing
