anyone know how to reset the NEW BEOLINE 2 the 2line base, have registered a beocom 5 handset to it, but it thinks the handset is number 2,  but there is no other handsets registered

According to the Beocom 5 servicemanual you should do the following, to Reset the NEW BEOLINE 2 the 2line base:

 Survey of the Service Menu that can be accessed by a registered BeoCom 5 handset

*Access to Service Menu: Enter the sequence 9#9#9* and press INT

Chose Meny :Reset base

The ‘Reset base’ menu contains possibility to reset the base station to factory settings.
- Reset of all EEPROM user system settings in the base to default factory settings.
- Registration data for all registered handsets is deleted.
- The pincode is deleted.
- The phonebook and calls list are deleted.
