Best Answer to Question 3 - The new clamp is not releasing the item, which originates from the story of trapping monkeys. This is done by placing a banana behind a device that a monkey can easily get its hand through. Whilst grabbing the fruit they make a fist that will not allow them to pull out - and they simply will not let go of the banana, or in this case the pole of the BeoVision Floor Stand!
