I have a BV7-32 mk3 in the main room with a sky+ box attached via scart and stbc. In my bedroom I have a BC6-26.

I would like to be able to watch the sky+ in the bedroom / link room. The two sets are already connected by masterlink via a Beocentre 2 (so I can hear audio on the BC6-26).

To watch the sky+ (or dvd in the BV7) on the BC6 I take it I need to connect the rf out of the BV7 into rf in on the BC6. Do I also need a beolink video? Or is that for older tv’s only?

    Many thanks

Re: A link tv video question

Yes, you will need an aerial cable to connect rf out of your BV7 to BC6 input. It`s important that you have analog video and audio from  your sky box (I have no sky box, so I can`t help here). Maybe you will need an RF link amplifier, depends on picture quality on your BC6. If Link frequency is set to default, you don`t have to change anything here. Otherwise you must tune in the correct frequency to the BC6. To control  mainroom devices you need a Masterlink cable - already connected. No, you don`t need a BL video. It`s for older TVs without ML connection. Link TV must be set to V.OPT 6.

Unfortunately I can`t answer your first question, the long one...maybe the correct answer is "42"...?

    Hope this helps

It will work but I would suggest you use the RF amplifier - much better picture quality. The Sky+ box needs a SCART connection to the BV7 as well as the HDMI (I expect it already does.) You will have full control upstairs.
