    Repaircost for a Beocenter 9500

    Dear members,

I have a Beocenter 9500 with an issue. One of the slide panels (cassette) does not open automatically. By hand it will open and you can hear the motor running. Will this be a costly repair?

Other question I have is, one of the slide mirrorpanels has a scratch. Are these panels still available or are they obsolete?

    Thank you! Leslie

try joeyboygolf for the panel - the issue with the slider could be simple if a god(?) member have a look at the service manual!

    Tony,

Is a 'God' member someone who can not only access the service manual but understands it as well?

Never heard of a "God" member! You probably mean Gold member like we are?

The panels are available from your dealer but only in sets of three.

It is not possible to replace individual panels as the colour of the anodising will not match and the new one will be obvious from the other side of the road.

Once the Beocenter is opened upit will be easy to spot the fault which could be a rubber drive band or disconected strings. Either way, it should not be too expensive to repair if you can find somebody capable of doing the job.

    Thanks Graham,

I have someone here who is capable doing these kind of repairs.

The panels are mirror finished. Any idea how much these costs as a set of 3?

I suggest that you call your local dealer as I have no idea of prices in Holland.
