Been a while since I last posted......hope everyone is fine and dandy?

I have just replaced my old Sky+ box with a new Sky HD box so I can use the "anytime" function on the HD box. I know my Avant won't show a HD pic but the Sky anytime function is a welcome addition.

Anyway my problem is the Avant keeps switching between screen formats whilst watching a program. It is very annoying and drives me crackers. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you have a fix for this please let me know.

Had the same problem with a BV8-40.

I think the dealer recommended changing something on the Sky picture menu - maybe switching off scart control?

I'll have a look later if no one else comes up with a more definitive answer in the meantime.

I forgot you said Sky HD ....

In my situation, I only have sky+ and the problem was recftified by turning the 'Scart Control' to 'Off' in Picture Settings.

I assume being HD you have HDMI connections and not scart so this won't work...

My Sky HD Box is linked via Scart because the Avant dosn't have a HDMI port. so I don't think turning off the Scart would help.........I will try it anywaay and see what happens.
