I try to make my BS5 encore running correctly since weeks, without success. the problem seems to be on the tags of the tracks for multiple artists album.

An album with 50 tracks is dispayed 50 times in the album selection menu, I let you imagine the navigation in such conditions.

I use either XLD or Max or Tag software to update tags of my FLAC and MP3 music library, but without success.

I fill in artist, album, track name and orchestra Plus the compilation flag.

Do I need to fill others tags to make it work ? I've tested a lot of combinations.

How do you force XLD to keep the tag you've updated, it rest the tags to what he founds ?

Thanks for your help, if i don't find a solution, I will give it back and go for LINN Majik DS with Ipad for navigation....

Rumor says that B&O is working on a fix... But it should have worked from the start!!!

Have you tried to put a "ALBUMARTIST" tag on your multiple-artists compilation? (the same ALBUMARTIST for all the files)

Maybe it works...

O tried this in the orchestra tag and in the album' artist tag, no change.

Cannot understand why it works for some of us and not for others.

As we say in french Grrrrr...!!!

Do you think that the name of the file has any influence on the way it is treated ?

How do you name the files ? Just title of the song or track-artist-sonf title ?
