    Beo 4 " mix " message

    Setting Beo4 - BC1 2004

I noticed the " mix " message on my beo 4 when I pressed text and then list . Anyone knows what it is supposed to controle ?

I remember having text on the beolink 1000 and an mx 3500 to make it possible to watch teletext screen in a see through way over your tv program.

But I tried pressing some combinations of buttons.  Nothing happened though and the message " mix " was still on the beo 4 screen?

The Mix button is to do just that, but your TV may not support it.

That's exactly what the MIX command is supposed to do. But I believe the later B&O TV sets (or any with a "real" B&O chassis?) don't support it - doesn't work on my MX6000 (-Beo4-IT) either.

Works perfectly well on my MX4002 (TEXT -> LIST -> MIX -> GO), but not on my LX6000 mk. 2...

I think it depends on which remote the TV set is designed to understand.

Funny, it works now for me as well! Dunno what I did wrong the last time.

Can't get this function with my older Beolink 1000 though - the button marked '>>' / MIX just cycles to the next teletext page memory, so I guess you're right, Erik.
