hi everyone, is it possible for me to connect a non b and o television to my 5500 system using theaudio out red and white plugs on the rear of the tv, it is a new tv which also has a optical digital output on it but i guess this would be to advanced a connection for the 5500 system? the  speakers connected to my 5500 are penta 3s. i would appreciate any ideas you have. thanks guys.

Any unused line-level input should work fine (Aux in , Tape 2 etc).

Thanks puncher being a real novice i was a little worried and did not want to do any damage to my well loved b and o system

Many thanks puncher for your sound advice, all working and the sound through the pentas is as always superb! played a blue ray disc of take that the circus and i was really amazed the pentas have a really rich sound many thanks again glen.
