    iPod & BC AV5

    Hi folks.

I have connected my iPod to the AV5 via the sockets behind the display. Now I would like to know how do I manage that the AV5 does not turn its tube on? When I listen to the iPod I just hit CAMCORD. I tried it with the AV button on the BEO4 but it did not help to keep the tube off!

Has anyone some advice with such an issue??

    Kind regards.

I have my iPod Touch plugged into AV vie Apple AV-Composite cable so I can watch iPod videos and listen to iPod music. For Music I have to hit P-Mute on the Beo4 to turn of the Screen of my BV8.

This is because the device is seen as Video device. I also uses Speaker 3 instead of Speaker 2 that I use for Audio devices...

My dealer did not have any other solution.

    BeoVision 8-40 / BeoVision 8-32 / Beovision 6-26 / BeoSound 3200 / BeoSound 1 / BeoLab 3 /  Beolab 6000 / Beolab 2000 / Beoport / Beomedia 1 / 3* Beo4 /BeoCom 5 with VOIP

So you connect the iPod to your BV8 via scart?
