Opinions on a 7-2 speaker paired with Beolab 6000s

    Hello,

I'm currently building a system with a vintage Beocenter 9500 and some Beolab 6000s mounted to the wall beside an LCD TV.  I'm not interested in a full surround setup at this time because I can't afford it.  However, I am interested in getting additional speakers in the future and having one eventually.  I was wondering if a way to get a sort of virtual surround-type sounding system would be to add a 7-2 "center" (obviously wired with L&R signals to my Beocenter 9500) would be a good idea.  I know this wouldn't be a true center speaker for just speech dialogue but would possibly give a more expansive effect.  I could also add a Beloab 2 at some point, and then some rears when I get a full system going.

I haven't seen many posts at all about the 7-2.  Do any of you think this would be a good idea to add it to the 6000s?

    Thanks!

Well a 7-2 will quite possibly deem your 6000's as useless. A much much better performing speaker.
