    Beogram into 9000?

I have hooked the two up with the DIN cable from the turntable into the 9000 socket but I have to turn the speakers up really high to hear anything.

Should I be using the turntable in this way or do I need a pre amp between them?

    Cheers

    Re: Beogram into 9000?

If by 9000 you mean a Beocenter 9000? Then the answer should be no as long as it is connected to the Phono input. If it is a Beosound 9000? Then yes you will need a Pre Amp.

Many thanks Craig.Yes - thumbs up

Can anyone recommend a Pre Amp? I see that there are battery powered units and mains units.

I plan to upgrade the turntable to something that equals the performance of the speakers later so probably not the battery model?

    Many thanks
