    Opening a Beomedia 1

    Hi,

Anyone know how toopen a Beomedia 1?my disk looks like it is failing, so I'm going to ghost it and put a new one in - but I've been stymied by the case.

I've removed all 8 screws from the bottom of the case and while it looks like it should just slide out - it won't. Maybe I'm missing something?

    Hi frog

    Have you checked your powersupply?

It´s a common problem, my HD began to restrart itself time after time.

With a new powersupply (from a local electronic store) it´s now up and running again.

Sorry, I have never open my BM1.

    No - that I haven't - you're right - the power supply is dodgy.

I have the exact symptoms - multiple restarts...

Great - just bought one on ebay.

I'd like to get into the box anyhow to put a bigger disk in.
