    Beosound 9000 on Beosound 3000 floor stand

    Hi

    Has anyone ever tried this, will the stand hold ???  (I only put it on to take a photo)

    I am thinking about what can I do with the stand, my Beosound 2300 had finally given up playing CD and I have no intention to fix it.  So what can I do with the stand apart from selling it.

    I think that combo with a horizontal 9000 looks pretty awful. I'd sell the stand (and the broken 2300) and put the money towards a proper 9000 floor stand...

    It's not whether the two pieces will physically hold together. That can be accomplished with a little drilling and hardware. The issue is that the 9000 will absolutely tip that little stand over. No question about it.

    I would also be worried about the whole thing tipping over, and getting seriously damaged...

    It doesn't look good, if you ask me, the proper BS9000 floor stand is the way to go, such a beauty.
