Hi! my AV5 has developed a problem which I would like help to get mended if at all possible. Its a great little TV that knocks the spots off the replacement Avant 32" RF in the sound department so would love to get it economically repaired if possible so looking for advice or reasonably priced service engineer to help me arrange this.

The TV powered on as usual and started to rotate to its preset position then stopped with no display showing and just a red light flashing on the display.

The TV wouldn't respond to the handset and no picture was visible at any time. i turned the set off from the main reset button but nothing happened. I noticed that the main plug fuse had now blown and so replaced it and turned on again but the fuse blew again.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated to help me save this poor old set that Ive grown attached to
