Help sought for getting BeoCom 6000 handsets to find base

hiya, hopefully someone can help me :)

We recently moved back to South Afica from Spain and took our stuff with us. In this case it's the phones I'm having difficulty with. I cant get the handsets to see the base. Originally it was working but I was having problems with the phonebook and only one of the 3 phones seeing the base station. So I removed all the base stations on the phones and then tried to get the phone to see the base station again....but now it just searches and finds nothing. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? I have one BeoCom 6000 pyramid and 2 BeoCom 6000 table chargers 3 phones all Beocom 6000 I think MK1 as they have the 9oclock black dot.

Have you reset the handsets and base?

To reset the Phonebook, Caller ID, Redail List and registered handsets, you have to first reset the base, then the registered handsets one after another:
Press the dot (shift function) placed between the A and V keys followed by 70008 and then OK (in the middle of the wheel) to reset the base.
Press the dot followed by 70009 and OK to reset each single handset.

    Hi Peter,

Thank you for this information. I have tried resetting the base but I get Base Connection Error. I tried from 2 handsets both the same error.

    Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way to reset the BeoCom 6000 mk1 Base from the actual base?
