    MX4002 service counters access

Software is M3.10. I need to know the hours of use. I thought it was menu 00 go but that only gives the software version. Thanks for any help. (Menu>setup>00>go also does not work)

Unfortunately the MX doesn't work like this. To get the full service menu, you need to short the service plug on a PCB which obviously means taking the back off and risking death! Not sure that the MX series has service indicators anyway!

That's what I thought as well, until I tried MENU-1-1-GO on my MX6000IT. Voilà, full service menu! (Did work on my MX4002 as well. Use EXIT to get out of it before you mess your TV up.)

But, you're right - there are no hour counters as far as I can tell. Two long series of digits on the "last error" page, but nothing I could decipher to be a usage counter...

Thanks for the replies. Looks like this chassis does'nt have the (useful) feature.

The MX4200 and MX8000 both have the service counter information as they are based on the later Beovision 1 chassis.
