Hello

I have a lovely beolit 800 (from the early 60's). I've had it for about 2 years. It has a lovely sound. it is used most weekends while reading the paper in bed!

The last few days it has sounded just slightly 'off station'- not so noticeable until speaking is heard and the dreaded 's' sound.

I'm unsure if it is just a few weeks of 'interference' or whether something is wearing out with the radio.

Any advice appreciated, or better still details of a good radio mechanic in Sydney?
