    beomaster 1001 serviceing

I may have chance to win on ebay an a second beomaster 1001 tuner amplifier that has a few things wrong with it and want it for spare parts for my existing one that also need a few small things done to it. Would Bang & Olufsen be able to service my exiting one for me if i gave them both machines to work on?

Not sure they will do this! You could be lucky but I doubt it. There are a number of people on site who will fix older equipment though. Where are you based. Or you could do it yourself! The service manual is on site!

Another recommendation for Tim Jarman who lives in Farnborough. He likes this era of receivers and I am sure he will be cheaper and more efficient that a B&O dealer simply because he is used to doing these! Can be contacted via www.Beocentral.com .

    Thanks Peter.

That's very helpful and worth takeing up however one thing i forgot to mention is that i'm a registered blind person but can see a little so getting this done closer to home would by easyer if it was possible so i'm still open to any further idears or advice from either you Peter of any one else who reads this post.
