    Eject DVD1 via Beo4

    Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to eject a DVD from a DVD1 via the Beo4?

    Thanks

Have tried holding eject but no joy!

I just wanted to know if it is possible thats all!

It would also come in handy those few times someone else is doing the disc swapping but can't find the eject button on the front of the DVD1 without their glasses

Apologies, I meant 'Stop' rather than eject!

    Any thoughts BeoLad?

Have you made sure that the active source was the DVD player.

Press STOP to Pause the DVD, then STOP again to stop it, then press long time to eject it.

This might not work on all the DVD players/Beovisions.

    Re: Eject DVD1 via Beo4

Thanks for the advice Phil but no joy!

I have made sure that the Beo4 is always in 'DVD' mode. When I press stop it pauses, stop again and it stops, press and hold a third time and nothing happens (other than a cross appearing on screen to signify that the command is not applicable).

    Any other suggestions chaps?

dredged the net and i'm really sure you can't eject it using the remote - i suppose the theory is that you have to 'attend' to the unit anyway if you intend on ejecting a disc you want to insert or remove so no need to have this function...
