Today, for the first time since I purchased the Avant as new, I used the headphone port. I get volume but just not enough. It seems as though there is a limitation on what is coming through the headphones. I have used the B&O headset, Plantronics, and some generic thing that I took from one of my kids; all seem to have a limitation to the sound. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks

I am not sure about the Avant end of things but have you considered a Headphone Amplifier? At one end of the scale there are a number of budet offerings available on eBay, and quite a few Audiophile-level components if you are able to spend more.

There are two volume settings.  

It is possible to have the headphones and Avant speakers work simultaneously.  Press mute and then adjust the volume up/down.  This should fix the problem.
