    BeoVision MX - MX4002 TV

    Hi,

I just bought a BeoVision MX4002 TV (2003 model) . I have read and heard from people that this TV is very good, with very good picture quality and sound.

I'll like to know what your opinions are about this TV. Please post in.

This 21 inch TV is going in my bedroom, for the time being i'll be using a cheap TV ariel. But soon I'm planning to gett another sky box to put in my bedroom to go with the TV. It will be so nice watching most haunted live on the B&O TV.

Re: BeoVision MX - MX4002 TV

    Hi Shane,

I bought my first MX4002 over 10 years ago and it's still working well. The picture is excellent still and competes with many modern flat screens in my view. Since then I have bought a second MX and an Avant RF all great pictures.

The 4002 should network as well so if you have a B&O sound system you can connect it via the Masterlink socket.

    Best regards,

    Rob

the mx 4002 has masterlink so the best thing would be to connect it to the main tv the you don't need to pay for the 2nd sky box

    cheers Nick

How may scart sockets does the MX4002 have at the back? I'm still going to put sky on it.

As I said, this MX4002 will be going in my bedroom which is located up Staires. Our Sky box is way down staires in the living room.

    Just for intrest,

Does someone have a pic of the speaker grill taken of the MX4002? I would just like to see what the drive units look like. I know it's a log line speaker.

    Thanks

Re: BeoVision MX - MX4002 TV

Thank you all for the replys. I should be having my MX4002 next week. I'll keep you all posted on how I get on with this TV.

I'm sure this TV will keep me happy, It may not be as good as our 50 inch samsung plasma we have in the living room. But should still show a good picture.

My BeoVision has a masterlink, What B&O speaker can I connect with this TV? Is there a certain favourite B&O speaker that goes with the BeoVision MX4002??

    Thanks

Re: BeoVision MX - MX4002 TV

I just want to ask a silly question.

Can my (2003) BeoVision MX4002 take an in door TV Ariel? I hope this thing has an Ariel socket on the back??

Anyway, using a crap Ariel on this nice box is only going to be temporary untill I get a SKY box.

Re: BeoVision MX - MX4002 TV

Shane, it will have a standard RF connection. Have you though of Having SKY+ downstairs and then having your old box connected in the Bedroom. We have just had this done a few weeks ago. Well recomended IMO.
