    BS9000 - Faint "Thish" Sound

    Hi All:

Wondering if any other members also has this little annoynaced on their BS9000.

I sometimes hear this little "Thish" sound when playing another CD on the BS9000. Say I when I start to select a CD from standby or while playing a CD and select another CD, doesn't matter which tracks, the first time it play this CD and the track there is this faint "Thish" sound coming from the speakers.

Hard to explain, it is like when you know that the speaker sort of signify that I am going to play the track or something. Tongue Tied

I also noticed that it happen more often on CD from HK (They are original CDs) :-)

Does any members have simiar experience? Could it be badlly connected cables? Some interference?

Re: BS9000 - Faint "Thish" Sound

My BS9000 with Pentas makes a light hiss sound, everytime I press any key on the remote. It is not hearable when playing louder than 30.

Don't think it is ment to, but I am used to it now.

Maybe it is the same sound you hear... Confused Smile

It is not really a hiss sound....and not relate to the remote either.

Hmm...maybe it sound like more of a little surge - a popping/crackling sound, then the song will play. And doesn't have this symptom for playing other tracks on the same CD, just that it happen when you switch to another one.

Doesn't happen on all CD's esp. those I brought here in North America. Hmm...

If no one else is having similar problem, maybe it's my ears Smile
