    Two Active eye's

Can I have two ( or more ) BeoLink Active IR. receiver eye's wired in series , got an extra eye unit one and wondered I could put it another room and wire it back to the first eye ?

Hi there.  Don't really know the answer to your question but I'm sure some knowledgeable beoworlder will soon respond.  Should the answer be negative, I'd like to buy your spare 'eye' if you'd like to sell.

    Hello

I was asked this question a year or two ago. I spoke to the Technical department at the time and they said absolutely not.  Bare in mind that the I/R sensor would be connected to the BeoLink box not the first eye.  I was told that you couldn't connect I/R sensors in series.

    Richard,

If two or more receiver eye's are wired in series, the unit will no longer work..

    Regards Keith....

Thanks for the replies , thought they might design it so you couldn't have more than one .
