    BV7-DVD2-STBbox connection

    Hello all

    I have just purchased a DVD2.

    My setup before was a BV7-40 (mk II) and an external STBbox.

    I could control the STBbox via the beo4 because I had registered the STBbox in the Connections menu on the tv

    But now I have put a DVD2 in between and registered that in the connections on the tv. So now I can't not control the STB anymore. Shouldn't I be able to control the STB even though it is connected via SCART from the DVD2 and not directly to the BV7?

    No thats only possible with HDR2, your STB has to be connected to BV7.

    Even when your STB is connected to BV7, it is not possible to do a timer recording.

    Are we now going to get an influx of questions from people who have bought DVD2 at a discount price only to find it has limited operation with other B&O products? Then the penny will sink in as to why B&O discontinued it.
