    Beogram 7000 dust cover

Like me, my Beogram 7000 dust cover is sagging in the middle, towards the back where it meets the cooling fins.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to remove the dust cover, flip it over and place a book on it to flatten it out?

If I were to do this, how difficult would it be to remove the cover?

    Thank you.

I am not convinced this will work.  The sagging has taken place over many years and simply placing a weight on the inverted part may temporarily work - but soon after returning it to the correct upright postion I would think it fill sag once again.

I would be interested in any other ideas anyone has!

Interesting.  I'll give it a shot once I figure out how to remove the dust cover.  Thanks.

It's held on to the hinges by the four screws (two on each side) which you can see under the cover after you open it. The only hard part is finding a short enough screwdriver. Don't crack the lid by overtightening when putting it back on.
