    Beocom 6000 to Beocom 1

    I'm sorry to ask a question that may have been answered many times. . . 

    I have a single Beocom 6000 handset and base. I recently bought a new Beocom 1 handset and new charging station. I can not register the new Beocom 1 handset with the Beocom 6000 base. What do I need to do?

    Hi there, and welcome to Beoworld.
    I'm sorry no-one has got back to you before now. I guess it is because it is unusual to have Beocom 1 and 600s mixed.
    As far as I am aware, they are identical, but named differently for different markets.
    Check that there are not any other handsets registered to your base, it can only handle 6 handsets.
    Try 'removing' all handsets except the one you use, then try adding your Beocom 1.

    The BeoCom 1 is not compatible with the BeoCom 6000. The BeoCom 1 registers to the BeoLine Base, not the BeoCom 6000 Master Base.

    I agree with TripEnglish they are NOT the same.

    The software loaded in each handset is different and you cannot load a European Beocom 6000 software into a Beocom 1 or teh other way round.
