    Poor man surround

My Avant dying; therefore I have to replace my tv.

From the current range of television I can not find a good solution that; but bear with me; I do not want to start a thread about the value for money.

What I want to know is:

    I want to connect:

    - 2xBL1 (front),

    - 2xBL4000 (back),

    - BL2 (sub),

    - BS9000,

    - non-B&O tv (still need to buy one),

    - Sanyo beamer

    - Denon DVD player

Furthermore I really want to keep my surround sound (DD/DTS) and I want proper sound without annoying issues (like back speakers turning off if they do not receive input for some time). I understand that the BS3 would be a very good solution; but it is to expensive for me.

What I would like to know from you experts is what solution there are available. Please do  not try to convince me that B&O tv's are the best choice, I would like to discuss the alternatives and the pro's and cons.

    One idea I though about:

    - Buy a De Toma; seems to be what I want, but system is not sold anymore

    - Buy a beosystem 2 (if these can be found for a very low price) and only use this for the sound processing by connecting it to a non-B&O tv with DD-out.

    Would this work properly?

I really hope I get some good ideas from this topic!
