beo1 remote with bc1

i can't seem to get my BC1 to work with the beo1 - is it a possibility (2004 model)? Or are the later BC1's doomed for use with only beo4... :(

I've tried the setup menu and couldn't find any remote settings :(

Thanks but that thread didn't help me, i'm afraid my service menu does not have 'remote control' in it...? What shall i do?? Sell the beo1??

Is there a software down grade that can be done or something? I'm so disappointed that i can't use this remote...
