    Belts on correctly??????

    I am battling to get my Beocord 5000 to work after a broken belt. It won't play.

    Have I put the belts on correctly? Looked at the manual but it isn't quite clear.

    The lower belt is fitted wrong. The upper side of it (looking at your picture) should go round the other side of the brass pully.

    See THIS THREAD for a pic of a BC2000 which has identical belt configuration.
