    Richard Wright dies.

Very sad to hear of the death of Richard Wright. He always seemed like the gentlest and most modest member of Pink Floyd and Great Gig in the Sky is one of my favourite tracks. My thoughts are with his friends and family who must be devastated at the loss of such a man.

    Re: Richard Wright dies.

Heard this tragic news on the radio just before leaving work today, I was shocked as I did not know he had been ill for some time.

    A sad day.

Pink Floyd were one of the bands that got me through my adolescence, and the first band I ever saw live (28 years ago!)

    Re: Richard Wright dies.

Pink Floyd just received the Polar Music Prize in Stockholm, but Richard Wright wasn't there. Now I understand why.
