Hi , i read on this forum that in order to make a DVD2 multi region this is required.

No DISC in player with draw shut ? as if you do not shut it it says TRAY OPEN ( tested open and shut)

Press GO + 0 (this goes to BROWSER PAGE )  But does it have to be on DVD or HARD DRIVE in the menu ?

Then press GO 159 12 12 12 005 255 GO

The numbers entered should show in the display ov DVD2 , but i can not see any numbers displayed as i enter them . I have put the numbers in slow and fast but when i restart the DVD with a region 1 disc it still would not play but just says REGION on the dvd display.

I am told this is simple to do and it will not work and can not see why.  Please can members help me so i can get full use from this player / recorder.  The only thing i can think of is a menu setting is wrong ?
