    Using the RF modultor of a V8000 with an MX7000

    Can the V8000 be used as a RF modulator to send the sources connected to a MX7000 to link rooms?

    I got a V8000 I don't use anymore... if this was possible, maybe you could even attach a STB/DVD Player to the V8000 and use it in the Link room?

    Any ideas?

    Can you 'open up' the scart or phono inputs to the V8000 without it being in rec-pause or record mode? ...and I don't think the deck's modulator can be made to stay on all the time when not in use (play/record/rec-pause etc) like other make VCR's. It would be a useful feature.
