i was in new york last week on holiday and called in on the bang and olufsen shop in columbus ave and noted bv 9 was 19,900 dollars at virtually 2 to the pound this cheaper than uk is it not

also would like to say the staff there made me very welcome

Yes definitely cheaper. The US is the place to buy from for people from the UK at this moment, so take advantage :-). Although I would imagine there must be differences in the US version eg voltages. Here the price is about £14000 for the basic setup I think so the one you saw was less than £10000 = nearly 30% cheaper.

ref prices bought some microsoft software half price compared to uk, pirate copies even cheaper if thats what you want
