I bought an beocom 1600 off ebay ages ago, tried it out by making a few calls and tested the other fucntions - they all worked fine. I then never used it as it was for my office which was waiting decoration - 6 months later the office is done and I have discovered it doesn't ring!!

I have a couple of 2400's and 6000's so am pretty familiar with the menus - but I can't figure out what is wrong - any ideas???? Am I missing something obvious...

I vaugley recall that there are two small switches on the back of the BeroCom1600, they are underneath the flap. maybe one of those has been inadvertently moved.
