    Have Software 4.2 arrived yet for BV7 MarkIII/Beosystem 3?

    Does anybody know? I´m waiting for the 1080p/24hz-support.

    No, but 4.17 has just been released. No further details so far ...

    One thing with 4.17 is that it supports new D10 panel for BV4

    Looking forward to see if the 24p upgrade is noticeable...

    On another note: I am told that the new BV4, which is shipped now from dealers - in the new dress (BV9 aluframe)....is a D9 version, and the "latest" one...!!

    is that in fact D10 - or is D10 the "next thing" - coming in 3-6 months or ??

    Apparently, all the new BeoVision 4-50 and BeoVision4-65 currently shipping will be delivered with the new D10 panel and the Automatic Colour Management system. At the same time the BeoSystem 3 software must be upgraded to version 4.17. This is the only software suitable for use with the D10 screens.

    Version 4.17 is backwards compatible with old screens.

    My dealer has update my BV9 to 4.17a and NO 24p

    BUT the interference issue is SOLVED!!!!

    Hi, I asked my dealer today if sw 4.2 have arrived. But no, it has not been released yet. I´m not sure if the 24fprs-support will make the picture smother when camera-panning. I have looked at other lcd-screens which support 24 fprs, and there are not a noticable difference between those screens and the Beovision 7 markIII.

    No, and it will be highlighted on here when it's released! Latest news is 'later this year', nothing more.

    So it is just a software issue to get 24 fprs on the current Beovisions, not a hardware issue?  My dealer has told me it is just a software issue but I thought there were some posts on here saying a new panel was needed for 24 fprs to work.

    Beovision 7-55 with Beolab 7-4, 9s and 4000s

    Beovision 10-40 with Beolab 1s and 6000s

    Beosound 1, 5, 2000, and 3000

    Beotime, Beotalk, Beocoms

    I have read the statement from B&O:s internal Web-site about the sw 4.2. It will arrive "soon". I read this for about a month ago. So I don´t think we have to wait until later this year.

    Yes, but what is 'soon' for B&O? It was someone else on here - someone more in the know than myself - who mentioned the 24fps upgrade would be later in the year.
