Hello,
I'm new to the B&O Link system and I want to make sure that everything I want to do is possible to realize.
I asked in the german forum before, but audience in general forum is brighter. Perhaps more experts
First, nothing is linked or connected together until now. I have to following components:
Living room: MX7000 and BC2300 with DeToma A102 amplifier and Non-B&O speakers and subwoofer.
Bedroom: MX4000
What I want to do and what I want to have:
I want to add audio to kitchen and bathroom.
Is it right that I can use a converter to make my BC2300 ML-ready and then simply add BeoLink Passive and BeoLink Eye and some speakers in kitchen and bathroom to control BC2300 (change Volume, Radio Stations and CD Tracks) from these rooms ?
Can cabling be done via CAT. 5 network cable ? What about those small Junction Boxes ? Do I need one central point from where I go to all link rooms ? Where can I read more details about cabling, options programming and so on ?
What about the MX4000 ? Is it possible to add audio link only as well, so I can use the inbuilt speakers for some music at night ?
I don't want to link MX7000 and BC2300 in living room, because, as far as I know, speakers of MX have to be turned off or have to be controlled parallel to the speakers of the BC2300. This is not what the active speakers of a MX deserve. I also don't want to add video link of MX7000 and MX4000.
Thanks and regards
Martin
