    Broken Beocenter 2 ?

Hi guys ! Just bought a Beocenter 2 (used) that doesnt seem to play any discs. It loads perfect then makes some noise and "unloads" opens again. Radio/aux works. Checked the NV log and it tells me something like error F8.... ?

Try cleaning the lens and, as said above, a different CD. Otherwise I suspect it has a fault. The problem with these is that it will be a module replacement and not cheap. Can you return it?

"F8" refers to an application error, if you can post the remaining digits of the error code I should be able to determine what the issue may be.

Yes, Ive tried a number of different discs, Ive tried cleaning the lens carefully, nothing helps. I might be able to return it yes, but not so easily.

    Thanks !

The error mesages suggest that, that is all you need to do.  However, a service engineer will have to do that for you.

    Good to hear it works.

Will you try to get some money back from the seller?
