    Beogram 8000 tacho disc

I found a "deal" on a non-working BG8000, where the display blinks a small square in the lower right corner along with the light on the end of the sensor arm every few seconds.  In reviewing older posts, it seems that the capacitor kit offered by one of the members here would be the answer.  Well, I found a capacitor kit on Ebay, but there is no tacho disc, and I see the one I have is a curled-up piece of film.

Is there some way I can get in touch with the person who can supply one?

    Thanks!

Probably the same chap! He is called Dillen on site and Dillen-de on eBay - Martin is his real name!

He often sells metal replacement tacho disks on ebay too, but don't wait - PM him and he'll happily sell you one.

You don't really have much choice to be honest. Martin is the only global source of these after spending many years trying to reproduce them with not a lot of outside help.

He deserves a medal for tenacity, patience & dedication.

Thanks Chris, but the huge amounts of positive feedback I get from buyers able to restore Beogram's that would otherwise be impossible to rescue makes it all worthwhile.
I'm sure you know the feeling yourself from your excellent solution to the Beogram CD X broken left side hinge repair.  Yes - thumbs up

Too true Martin, it isn't the money it's the knowing you can help that matters. Just as well there are a few like minded people on here eh?
