    Option Programming the remotes

My setup is as follows: Beosystem 1 with BS9000 linked together in the same room, then I have a beolink passive setup for outdoor speakers.

I used to be able to listen to my tv outside, but now it will only play radio, cd player outside. Could someone please advise what the correct option setting would be for a beolink active eye mounted outside. And do I set these options at the eye on on the main system?

One other question is, can I some how control the output of the beolink passive inside at the BS9000, i.e. is there a way to press link and then something on the remote to do this? So lets say I am outside (beolink passive) and turn up the volume then I go inside and want to turn down the volume, instead of going outside can I press LINK on the beo4 and something to change the volume at the BS9000.

     Thanks

     Eric

Not at home with my manual, but I think it should be option 6. I don't think you can alter another room's volume from outside without simply turning the whole system off.

Do I set the option in front of the main BO setup or do I do in in front of the eye for the passive?

Option 6 is for a link room.

So do I set this option in the Link room or the main room. Or am I wrong in thinking that it sends any IR code when you are setting the option?

    From the link room.

But the problem may also be that your main room settings are wrong.

Are the speakers connected to the TV or to the HiFi ?

The speakers are connected to the Beosystem 1 which is connected to the BS9000 in the same room...

So the TV should be option 2, the BS9000 option 0, and the link room option 6.

Thanks... I will try that later on....

Any idea if I can change the volume of the Link via the beosystem? Can I press link and something... Or is that not possible?

     Regards
