OK, I am guessing that you had the LCS9000 upgraded by changing the micro processor which effectively makes it a Beolab 3500 Mark I
Is it possible that you had a power failure or a power dip (Brown out) when you were away ?
If so, then the whole Masterlink system may have restarted incorrectly. This assumes you are using the Masterlink rather than the MCL connection (DIN socket). To check it this is the case, switch all products on the Masterlink off at the mains plug of each device, wait 10 minutes and then switch everything back on again and see if you still have the problem.
