Just a quick question: is it possible to set timer recordings on Tape2 in Beomaster 5000 ? (Or BM5500, for that matter ?)

Can't figure out how to do it on MCP5000 and could't find answer in manuals nor searching the forum either...

Doesn't it work as any other source (RECORD under the flap - TAPE2 - DAY - time - STORE...)? Direct recording to TAPE2 is a bit more complicated, but I don't believe there's anything special to it regarding timers.

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. It is just timer recording TO tape2 that I'm asking. I suppose it is not possible at all...?

No, I don't think it's possible, except perhaps when the source is TAPE1 - that could make some sense if it's something else than a tape recorder.

Timer recording to TAPE2 is possible on BS6500. On that, you select CONTROL-TAPE2 before the rest of the programming sequence. I don't believe it works on the 5000 as it's not mentioned in the manuals, but worth a try I guess...

Tried it; not working on BM5000!

Just have to live with it...
