    Beogram 8002 safety lock?

As posted earlier by Beogram 8002 now plays with out trouble not really knowing why I have noticed since the lack of 2 pins in the DIN cable that using play with out turning the Beomaster 6000 on resultats in the arm going forward a bit, going back and stoping as a kind of safety/children lock.

    It this a correct theory?

    No.
It sounds more like an unstable power supply or a problem with the CPU circuitry (intermittent reset). A normal functioning Beogram will play records regardless of the presence of datalink pins and/or connected Beomaster. It's probably down to simple coincedence that it acts up when the datalink pins are missing - or any noise introduced is just enough to marginally trig the CPU reset.

Is this the same Beogram you've had in for service now a couple of times ? If so I suggest you grab a cap kit and have them replace the whole kit according to the included instructions or - maybe even better - find a new repair shop... or both.

You do have a point so the following is on the way to you to look into:

Beogram 8002. Only fault at the moment is my wrong theory.

Beomaster 6000. Only fault to notice is a shutdown if the volume reach 30. Maybe the overall tone balance needs adjusment. Speakers used are Beovox M150 in excelent working condition (service not needed, and not shipped)

Beocord 8000. The drive belt was rotten so nothing big.

I'm looking into how and who to use for sending. I will send you a pm when its done.
