ConfigurationTool 4.11 on Windows 7 and MacBook Pro

    Hi,

I used to have an old XP PC, which now has gone to the eternal Microsoft heaven, the PC was among others used to configure my Beo5.

For some reason trying to run the CT4.11 on Windows 7 Ultimate (32bit) on my MacBook Pro doesn't seem to work, the software won't load any configurations at all, and importing a CTX file is possible, but I can't access it. There is no serial number in the list so I can't get in touch with the configuration at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

I do not have the config tool but I am also using some virtualisation technology for running Windows on my MacBook. Unfortunatelly I still need Windows for my tax declaration once in a year...

Well, the only problem I can imagine that you do not have a usb connection to your BEO5.

    Hi,

I do have the USB connectio, and the Beo5 is recognized, however on the PC it was not a problem to setup the Beo5 without having it connected to the PC, only when the changes was to be uploaded to the Beo5 it had to be connected.

As it is now on the MacBook Pro, I can't even get to do anything in CT. Sad

Did you try the XP-compatibility modus?

As the B&O Configuration Tool uses Microsoft .NET technology, I suggest you check in the control panel of Windows 7 that .NET version 3.5 is installed, if it is not then the configuration tool will not work. If it is not installed, then download and install it from the Microsoft web site, then re-install the Configuration Tool.

    Regards Keith....
